Fall Carnival: Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Fall Carnival! It appeared fun was had by all who attended! We appreciate the support of our wonderful community!

Book Fair: The Book Fair is this week! Students can shop the fair during their assigned library time or other times throughout the week if they have money. Parents can visit the book fair too any time from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. It will be closed daily form 10:45 AM-11:45 AM for lunch!

Lady Pirates Softball Camp: Camp is this Tuesday through Thursday! Girls who have registered should bring their softball glove, bat (if they have one) and weather appropriate clothes including tennis shoes or cleats. Girls participating will need to be picked up at 5:15 PM at the Library Media Doors in the back carline.

Character Student of the Month Assembly: Our monthly assembly is this Friday, November 4 at 7:45 AM in the JH Gym. If your child has been selected as their class's character student of the month, you will be notified by his/her teacher. Families are welcome to attend this assembly!

Grade Cards and Parent Teacher Conferences: Grade cards will be given out during Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 7. Your child's teacher will be contacting you to set up a time to meet. Our goal is to meet with 100% of our families!

Youth Basketball Forms Due: Forms for Youth Basketball were sent home. This league is for students in grades 3rd-5th grades. Games will start in January and run for eight consecutive weeks. Teams may be limited if we do not have enough parents willing to coach. Families are responsible for transportation to and from games, uniform costs, and entry fees. The form is due by Friday, November 11.

Christmas Makeover Permission Slips Due: Forms have been sent home and are due back by Friday, November 18. These makeovers are free for those who sign up by the deadline!

Mark Your Calendars: Christmas Program: We have set the date for our Christmas Concert! Times will be shared closer to the date, but mark your calendar for Thursday, December 8, 2022. The program will be held in the High School gym.

Still Important...

Student Absences: If your child is absent from school for any reason, please call the office to let us know. The phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 902.

Breakfast: If your child is a parent drop off each morning and wants to eat breakfast at school, he/she needs to be dropped off no later than 7:40 AM. We have had a few come after 7:45 and they do not have time to get to breakfast before being counted tardy for class.

SNAP and Medicaid Application Assistance: If you would like assistance in applying for SNAP or Medicaid, then please call the Elementary office so we can help you set up an appointment with someone who can help you complete the process. If you would like us to send home applications for you to complete on your own, we can do that too. Just give us call and let us know how we can help! 417-723-5300 ext 902.
