Your school has purchased the TutorMe program to support you whenever you need help. You can get live tutoring help or writing lab support. For the writing lab you submit your piece of writing in .docx format and get feedback within 12 hours.

How do I access this program?

1. Just click on "TutorMe" from any course in Canvas
2. Start a live session or submit to the writing lab
3. For math use this key: Math 1 = "pre-algebra", Math 2 = "geometry", Math 3 = "algebra"

That's it! We hope you use this resource and it helps you perform better in your classes.

Our Show Your Cougar Pride Membership Drive is officially under way! Our PTO meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. in the Staff Lounge, with our next meeting right around the corner on October 3, 2023. Everyone is welcome to participate!

Friendly reminder that students bringing sports equipment (balls, rackets, shoes) to school must find a safe place to store it during the school day (with their coach or other source) or leave them at home. These items cannot be stored in the VP office. Thank you!

Hey Cougars! Steele Canyon’s Mitochondrial Club is preparing for its annual Comedy show event on November 18th in Alpine, California!

With all funds raised for UCSD’s Mitochondrial Disease Research, we feature stand-up comedians for the entirety of the night, live performances by the Sonjorombe band, food/dessert, and amazing prizes raffled throughout the night!

Tickets are currently being sold and we need your help! It would be amazing if you, a parent, friend, or even a family member could attend or simply donate to this event which serves an amazing cause!

Lastly, as mentioned above, we are raffling prizes all night! Mitochondrial Club receives donations to support our raffle every year. We encourage you to help us in any way possible collect more raffle items! Whether it may be from a well-known friend who is willing to donate gift cards, or even contacting well-known companies like Starbucks it would be very much appreciated! Thank you for all your support and hope to see you at SCHS Mito Clubs 2023 Laugh for MITO Comedy Show!

"Got Sneakers" where anyone Teacher, student, & family member, could donate their old sneakers/shoes. NO Flip Flops, Boots, Sandals, or dress shoes. Any and all sneakers. All you have to do is drop them off to Ms. Pharis in the Dance Room for us to collect. We are helping to raise money for our program, recycling shoes, and saving the environment; One shoe at a time!

Donations are Due by Thursday, October 12th!

Our SCHS ¡Sí se puede! Club had a burrito fundraiser Wednesday morning and it was a success! We want to thank our school community for allowing us to celebrate our heritage today and every day that we can. Students, please join us on Wednesday’s at the ASB room during lunch for our weekly meetings, we are planning fun events throughout the year! We’ll see you there! ¡Sí se puede!
