As the weather is getting nicer, reminder to all about our student dress code found in the Family Reference Guide:

Students are expected to be dressed appropriately while in the school each day. While this may mean different things depending on weather, activities, and more, the following general guidelines should always be followed:

• Students should be covered from shoulders to thighs in solid material.

• Undergarments should be completely covered at all times.

• Clothing should not contain any inappropriate or profane language or references to drugs, tobacco, or alcohol, or violence.

• Clothing should not pose any kind of safety risk.

We end each year with a 10-day spirit day countdown, and we like to have students be able to contribute to some of the theme ideas. A full schedule of the spirit days, which will be from May 17 to May 31, will be shared once the days are finalized.

All 2nd grade students are required to turn in a dental exam form signed by a licensed dentist before May 15, 2023. Dental forms can be accessed online under Parent resource/Health Services. If you have any questions, please contact the health office at (224) 612-7505.

The PTC will be catering breakfast and lunch for staff as well as several other perks for staff throughout the week. We are in need of donations to help stock a snack cart and various items to add to the coffee bar/breakfast. Please click the sign up below if you would like to donate.

Please join the Indian Grove PTC for Breakfast with Buddies on May 9th or May 10th from 7:45-8:30am. Muffins, coffee, and juice will be served. Cost is $2 per person. Space is limited each day so be sure to sign up ASAP to secure your spot!
