Message from Principal Eisenbach
Hello CL Families,
YEARBOOK orders open this month. Please take a minute to order your yearbooks before March 1st. It is difficult to order yearbooks after the deadline and we don't want any of our students/families to miss out on getting one if they want one. A link to the order form can be found in this edition of the County Line Connections (CLC).
We had a very nice 4K parent information night on Jan. 31st for next year's 4K families. The 4K and 5K registration for the 2024/25 school year is now open. If your child is currently enrolled in 4K you do not need to register them for 5K. If you or someone you know needs to register for school next year, this link will get you to the enrollment and registration page on our website. If you have any questions please feel free to call the CL office (262)253-3465. Enrolling early gives us a better understanding of our enrollment for next year as we start to plan for the 2024-25 school year.
Many of our students have received smartwatches or phones during the holidays. I have pasted the language from the Student Handbook below to help parents decide if it is a good idea or not for their child to bring those devices to school. Please know that if a student is not following these guidelines their device will be held by the teacher or in the office until the end of the day.
The use of personal communication devices during the school day is prohibited unless expressly allowed by a staff member for a special purpose. Cell phones must be turned off and placed in backpacks prior to entering the building. Smartwatches (i.e., Apple watch, GizmoWatch, Garmin, etc.) are considered personal communication devices if they have cellular or wifi connectivity. Cellular or wifi connectivity on smartwatches must be disabled during school hours if the student wishes to wear the watch during the school day. Students should use the classroom or office phones if they need to communicate with someone outside the building during the day.

From the Health Room:
Having extra clothes at school isn’t just for kindergarteners! Please have some extra clothes in your child's backpack during these snowy months. They play hard at recess and that can lead to some very wet clothes. The Health Room does not have extra clothes for students who come in wet after recess.
