Compliance and Esped
General eSped Reminders:
When having ARDs with an interpreter who is participating virtually (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google, etc.) please make sure that the correct virtual link is entered when submitting the Interpreter Request Form.
If ANY CHANGES are made to the video conferencing link AFTER submitting the request form,
Terry Hernandez must be informed ASAP via phone & email:
210-354-9565 ext. 53410, mhernandez14@saisd.net.
If unable to speak to Terry, immediately call & email Maggie Cruz:
210-354-9565 ext. 57433, mcruz5@saisd.net.
We have had a number of ARDs scheduled where, for example, a Zoom link was provided on the Interpreter Request Form. But just before the meeting, a decision was made to conduct the meeting in Teams rather than Zoom; yet, this new information and link were not provided to Terry Hernandez. Consequently, the interpreter was waiting on Zoom for quite some time. This confusion and delay is not only costly to the district/department, it is avoidable. Please see the clarifications now reflected in the Language Interpreter Request and Cancellation Process.
