"Pausing at the Threshold: A New Year's Fire Communion" with Rev. Sara Lewis

The worship service starts at 10:00 am.

Please join us for a very different kind of worship experience on Sunday as we hold outdoor worship stations to pause, release what you'd want to release from 2023, and enter 2024 with new intentions. We will also have a social fire pit for visiting and chatting. Dress for the weather! In-person only.

No Thursday dinner or activities this week. Thursday evening programming will return on Thursday, January 4.

The church office will be closed through January 1.

Do you have a Guest at Your Table Box you’ve been collecting money in? Please return your boxes to OUUC by January 7!

On Wednesday, December 27 volunteers from OUUC will bring main and side dishes for the evening meal at Interfaith Works’ Unity Common’s Adult Shelter, and/or collect shelf stable foods for the food bank’s weekend backpacks. New volunteers are always needed and welcome to join this team which is helping to provide food security to kids, teens and adults in need. For more information, please call or email Jo Ann Young.

Important Year-End Donation Information - We are grateful for your generous donations and want to make sure you know some important information for your year-end gifts. Our church office will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day. If you would like your contributions to be on your 2023 end-of-year statement, please drop off your cash or check donations to the church office by December 24 or be sure they are postmarked before December 31. A good way to be sure your contributions are processed before the end of the year is to consider making an online gift.

Address Change for OUUC - OUUC’s address will change as of January 1, 2024. OUUC’s new address will be 2306 East End St NW. The City of Olympia has directed us to make this change. This is due to the regulations regarding emergency access. If you use an automated bill-paying service for your pledge payments (your bank sends OUUC a check on your behalf), you will need to update the address.
