Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a magical week at the Home of Champions. This week is Spirit Week and our theme is Disney, the Happiest Place on Earth. I honestly think we got a head start to this spirit week last Wednesday when our students and staff hosted our first ever Unified Sports basketball game vs Hilltop High School. Our students on the basketball court were amazing and our students cheering from the stands really exemplified what it means to be a Spartan! It was definitely on of my proudest moments I have ever had as Principal. Thank you to our ASB, Unified Sports Coaches and student-athletes for making this day so amazing. Also, a huge shout-out to the teachers who signed up their classes to attend the game.

This week will also be an exciting one, with our Disney Spirit Week, our Elective Fair on Wednesday and our Fall Sports Assembly. Students, make sure you don't miss a minute of it. Get to school on time every day! Get the most out of your time as a Spartan!

Spartans, our Disney spirit week will kick off this week and lead up to our winter sports assembly on Friday! Please note that to get into Friday’s assembly, you MUST have Spartan blue on. You will not be allowed into the assembly with only Disney ears, you have to wear Spartan blue!

Thank you to Onward Energy for their generous donation of $10,000 aimed at creating STEAM opportunities for our students. We're looking forward to seeing your ideas come to life!

Congratulations to our ASB Assistant Principal and all of out amazing ASB students for organizing the first ever Unified Sports game at the Home of Champions. Led by the awesome coach Quinlan, our team had a great basketball game against the Hilltop Lancers.

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
