Mary Redmond Ussher, Irish author
The South Carolina Ladies Ancient Order Of Hibernian's State Board is hosting an evening with Irish Author, Mary Redmond Ussher. Mary will be discussing her book The Pink Ribbon Path. A wonderful guide for both men and women who face serious illness or care for those who are ill. Anyone looking for strength and inner peace, will enjoy hearing Mary's original prayers and reflections written on her journey with cancer.
Dr Megan Baker MD, Surgical Oncologist, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center will also share her thoughts.
The program is set for 6:30 pm, DEC 10, 2014, Room 118 in the College of Charleston's Education Center, 25 St Phillip St., (Building 95 on the campus map) at the College of Charleston. A convenient parking garage is located across the street, on the left just past the St. Phillip and George Street intersection.
Prof. Joe Kelly will also have a short video and a few words about the College of Charleston's Irish Studies and Student Exchange Programs slated for Fall 2015.
Irish music performed by Fiddler and singer, Karin McQuade, Step dancing by Legacy Irish Dance Academy, and all the beauty of Charleston, South Carolina at Christmas time! You don't want to miss this great night.
