Service Project Club is holding a coin drive May 1st – May 5th to raise money for special projects in our community. Any and all coins count towards the total value for the week and the grade level with the highest amount will win a popsicle party.

Leaders will be announced Tuesday-Thursday mornings with the winner declared on Friday afternoon!

Containers will be outside the front doors along the preschool playground fence Monday-Friday mornings from 8:10-8:20 and Monday-Thursday afternoons from 3:00-3:10.

LEE has 8 raised beds where we will be growing our very own fruit, vegetables and flowers this year. We need volunteers to help weed so that we can get ready for planting.

When: Saturday April 29th at 3:00pm.

What to bring: Bring your own gardening gloves and weeding tools if you have them. If you find that you have extra vegetable starts, we would love to take those as well.

If your family is not planning to return to Longmont Estates Elementary next year, please contact Nicole Lee at lee_nicole@svvsd.org before the end of the school year. We appreciate this information as we plan for staffing next year and prepare any student records that will need to be sent to another location.

Looking for an easy way to help our school? Join the Parent Teacher Organization!

The PTO is a laid back group of parents/guardians and LEE staff. We meet virtually for about one hour a month to work towards the betterment of Longmont Estates Elementary.

Did you know, the PTO helps coordinate & fund many favorite events?

• Back to school night

• Jog-a-thon

• Fall festival

• Restaurant nights

• School assemblies

• Field trips

• Innovation fair

• Field Day

• Spring luau

The PTO also helps:

• Funds paraprofessionals, who supplement work done in the classroom

• Provides staff meals & appreciation several times a year

• Funds new equipment & supplies

• Coordinates volunteers & donations

In order to continue the great programs and events that PTO supports, we need your help in our 2023-24 school year. There are no membership, applications, contracts or fees. Just people working together for the enrichment of our school community.

Hey, innovators! We’re looking for students who are risk-takers, thinkers, curious, persistent, creative, and interdependent. Join us at Innovation Academy for a two weeks of design thinking, inquiry-based learning, and lots and lots of prototyping, where you’ll have tons of fun as we find solutions to problems with food, transportation and buildings. At this year’s Design Guild, students can use Design Thinking, a human-centered, problem-seeking, problem-solving approach, to finding answers for many of the world’s issues. Does your child constantly seek out solutions to problems they encounter? Are they always designing, brainstorming, building and prototyping? Consider having your child enter the Student Design Guild where they can share and showcase their prototype of a problem they want to solve.
