New Teachers and Partners !

We are happy to welcome some new teachers and community partners. We have Cody and his Soul Power Productions team , Indigo and Georgia , working with us to introduce music and poetry as students explore their voice and self expression.

Students are participating in art, dance and music classes. Classes are culminating their performance based on "Different : A Story About Loving Your Neighbor" by Chris Singleton , a local author. Chris will visit our classes for a book signing and each student will receive a copy of the book.

Students are learning the chorus to “Lift Every Voice and Sing” to accompany vocalist ,Indigo Sky. Children will learn sign language of Bill Withers “Lean on Me.” Our November 4 performance will include art, music, dance and writing.

We are happy to have Addy Gantt joining us again to bring her expertise in dance , dance therapy, performance , yoga and gymnastics to the classes this Fall.
