Saying Good-bye to Our PE Teacher, Shelayna Higgins

Best wishes and a very fond farewell to our PE teacher, Ms. Higgins. She has made a huge impact on students, staff, and the entire school. We will miss her and wish her the best in her new adventure!

A note from Ms. Higgins:

Hi PPCS Families,

I have enjoyed my time here with you all at Palouse Prairie, but I unfortunately will not be returning next year. I am moving to Boise, Idaho this summer to start a new chapter in my life. I am looking forward to continuing teaching, but will be focusing on pursuing dance professionally in a company.

Thank you all for making my 1st year of teaching a positive experience! It has been a joy to teach the students here, and I have loved getting to know each and every one of them. It amazes me to see how much they have grown physically, socially and emotionally in PE. The students here are kind hearted, they look out for one another, they are enthusiastic about learning, and full of great ideas!

Leading adventures this year is one of my most rewarding experiences. The students overcame challenges and had a ton of fun making meaningful memories. I've loved getting to work with many PPCS families and I appreciate the consistent support.

I am going to miss all the kids, families and staff very much. I will cherish all the amazing memories I've had at PPCS.

Your student's achievement report will be accessible through Jump Rope. Final grades will be available in the parent portal soon. If you don't have access to Jump Rope, please contact the office.
