Welcome Back, Dolphins! We are ready to jump back into “business”! We are excited that we are celebrating the national influence and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This Thursday (January 11th), three Oak Springs Dolphins will participate in the annual MLK Oratory Contest that is hosted by the Austin Area Heritage Council. The event will take place at the Highland Campus of Austin Community College at 6:30 pm. Come be apart of the this #DolphinStrong experience.

In addition, our Dolphin Step-Drill Team will perform at the MLK Youth Legacy Awards Program on Saturday, January 13 at 3pm. This community event will take place at the Eastview Campus of Austin Community College.

Estamos entusiasmados de celebrar la influencia nacional y el legado del Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Este jueves (11 de enero), tres delfines de Oak Springs participarán en el Concurso de Oratoria anual MLK organizado por el Consejo del Patrimonio del Área de Austin. El evento se llevará a cabo en el Highland Campus de Austin Community College a las 6:30 pm. Ven y sé parte de esta experiencia #DolphinStrong.

The Central Texas Food Bank’s social services team is continuing to assist clients with applying for SNAP (along with Medicaid, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, Medicare Savings Program, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal). We offer help with applications remotely and on-site. Our offices are located at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, Texas 78744.

For the safety of our staff and the community we serve, we have implemented social distancing models and can see a limited number of clients at one time on-site at the Food Bank. To get help with applications on-site, please call our hotline to make an appointment first at 855-366-3401.
