SEVERAL IMPORTANT REMINDERS

- Book Fair is all this week! Check out the info below.

- Thursday is Blue and White Bethel Day and Friday is Pisgah/Tuscola Day

- Friday there will be spirt items for sale ($1-$3) at lunchtime

- Friday will be Fire Safety Day with our Center Pigeon Fire Dept visiting

- NO SCHOOL MONDAY, OCTOBER 16TH

- October 19th is last day of 9 weeks

- October 20th- 2nd-5th Grade Blue Paw Party for first 9 weeks

- October 25th Report Cards go home

- November 7th - Pig Race and Silly String Mrs. Watson at Candy Bar fundraiser party!

BOOK FAIR REMINDERS

Book Fair Info. 📘 Monday, October 9- Friday, October 13

Here is some important info about our Book Fair!

The Book Fair is open on Thursday 10/12 from 3:00-6:00pm and early morning hours on Thursday10/12 and Friday 10/13 from 7:00-8:00am. Bring the family to shop and earn money for our school library!

Included on this site: A new way to "send" money with your child electronically called EWALLET; and a link to sign up as a volunteer.

Checkouts and Tardies

Our goal is for every child to make it in Blue Paw!

We have noticed an uptick in tardies, but especially an increase in check outs this year. We need your help with this. It's very important that your child be at school every day, all day, unless they are sick or have a doctor's appointment. They miss so much when they aren't at school...even if it's 20 minutes! Students only make Blue Paw for the week (K-1) and every other week (2-5), if they are at school each day in that time span and aren't tardy and don't check out. There will be times when a student is sick and must check out, however, let's keep checkouts and tardies to a minimum. We have to prioritize our children's education and it starts at home. We miss your sweet children when they aren't at school! Thank you for helping us do better in this area. We really appreciate your support!!

Event Information

Book-a-Ween

On Tuesday, October 31st, we will be celebrating Halloween with our annual Book-a-ween treat for students! On this day, students are allowed to wear their costumes to school, but please nothing scary and no full face masks. During the morning, students will be traveling with their grade to listen to different teachers and staff share books. Students will also be receiving a special book treat!!

Thank you for all you do to make sure your child is successful! Parenting is one of the most difficult jobs there is, and you all are rocking it! We appreciate your support in our recent fundraiser and your participation in parent/teacher conferences, volunteering, and helping your child with homework.
