August Newsletter -2023

The school year has started, and I have pulled almost all my students to see what they would like to do this year as a TAG project. I missed some due to absences. Check out the TAG Syllabus to see some of the offerings.

Students received a Growth Contract and is due back to me no later that September 15. See attachment below. They only need to answer questions 1-5 and we will write a SMART Goal together at our September Gifted SEL.

Students who signed up for competitions that will compete outside of school hours, I will create an email group to give regular updates, with information about the competitions, dates and timelines.

KYA is happening this year. We will be attending Middle School 1 from November 16th-18th. We start afterschool practices the week of September 11th. West - Wednesday 3:30-5:30 and East- Thursday 3:30-5:30. The cost is $315 per student, and we will have fundraisers to help offset the cost. We will handout fundraiser information at the 1st meeting.

This should have an article or two and few pictures starting next month on what is happening in Middle School TAG.
