Ivan Green Weekly Update

Dear Ivan Green Families:

The moment that so many Ivan Greeners have been waiting for... Starting October 13th, the kitchen will start selling snacks every Friday. Ice cream cones or ice cream on a stick is $1.00. Dixie cups ice cream is $0.75. cookies are $0.75 each and chips are $1.00.

So many of our students will be very excited for this!

Also, we announced our next Coffee with the Principal topic. I have invited Mrs. Swartz, our AVID coordinator, to talk with us about AVID. AVID is a structure for schools that focuses on aligning systems and teaching strategies focused on providing top-notch instructional experiences for ALL students. We look forward to sharing a cup of coffee and some conversation with you - see below for the details.

Our next Coffee with the Principal is with Mrs. Swartz, our AVID coordinator. She will provide an overview of AVID Elementary, which is a framework for our school to find success for all students.
