PRINCIPALS MESSAGE

Dear Wauwatosa Montessori School Family,


It was nice to see WMS families dining at the GUAC ON Chipotle fundraiser this week! About $375 was raised for the PTSA. We all truly appreciate the PTSA’s dedication and support!


We are excited that AP students and several Upper Elementary students are presenting their Future City Projects at MSOE this weekend! Thank you so much to Ms. Dawson and Ms. Brenner for supporting the students as they went about creating their projects! What an incredible opportunity.


Thank you everyone for their patience as we are navigating the effects of the power outage from last weekend, especially Ms. Char. We are hoping that everything is operating smoothly soon.


Get ready for it! Our All School Read will be announced next Friday, January 26th at our assembly! Thank you to Ms. Jenice, Jen Jacobs, and Jason Lawent for teaming up to prepare for the All School Read and Literacy Night. More volunteer opportunities will follow related to the All School Read and Literacy Night!


Montessori Morning Coffee With Principal Pallin Coming Up Monday, January 29th

7:30-8 Special Guest Presentation from Dr. Means and Mr. Brightman

8-8:30 Mix and Mingle, A Montessori Material and Article Will be Available to Discuss as well

Families please mark your calendar for Monday, January 29th! Childcare will be available on the playground for parents/guardians. On this first Coffee Chat, we will welcome special guests Dr. Means and Mr. Brightman to give a District Finance 101 presentation. The presentation will be 20 minutes and there will be 10 minutes for questions (7:30-8). Following this, parents/guardians are welcome to mix and mingle for some time to chat and ask questions. Feel free to bring a breakfast item to share! We’ll meet in the library! Presentations throughout 2024 will include Montessori materials, Montessori practices, Ways to Bring Montessori into the Home, and District-Wide Updates!

You really guaced and rolled!

Thank you families for participating in our first restaurant fundraiser of 2024! Chipotle will be donating over $375 back to our PTSA to help fund bussing for school field trips, support of future school community events and more!


Save the date: Noodles & Company February Fundraiser

Our next restaurant fundraiser will be on Tuesday, February 13th from 4-8 p.m. at Noodles & Company off State Street. Mark your calendars and take a night off from cooking to support the Wauwatosa Montessori PTSA!


Upcoming events

We are planning a family game night in February as well as some Saturday afternoon sledding. Details to come!

Fresh Hot Popcorn

We will once again have the opportunity to order popcorn on Tuesday's. The price is $.75 per bag. Students order it on Tuesday morning and the Next Steps crew make the popcorn and deliver it same day. So yummy!
