Next week is the official reopening of Gorman Elementary School. We will be moving to a hybrid model, where students will attend school two days a week and zoom the other three. All zoom classes will begin at 2:00 pm. We are still waiting for our waiver for the TK-2 students. Ms. Laurel and Mrs. Saenz have been in contact with most families regarding this transition. If there are any questions regarding the new schedules, please call the office for more information. We look forward to seeing you all in-person again!

On October 30th, the students had a supply pick-up where they were able to show off their Halloween costumes! They also received a bag of goodies and some cotton candy. The staff was thrilled to see everyone dressed up and we look forward to the day we can all be in school together again! Thank you to Dr. Kiouses, Mrs. Saenz, all staff members, and the PTSO for helping support our students through this difficult time.

Exciting news, Gorman Elementary will still be having school picture day! We could not be more thrilled to still be able to have school pictures taken this year. We are working on having a second day for all students on the Thursday/Friday schedule. As information comes in, you will be notified of all guidelines regarding picture day. We look forward to seeing all of our students, even if it's only for a few moments during photos.

We are working with the PTSO to fundraise for future events and prizes. Gorman School PTSO appreciates all those who participate and purchase anything from the Fun Pasta brochure. As this fundraiser commences, please feel free to call the office with any questions about these items. This month, we will have a break the week of Thanksgiving. We would like to wish all families a wonderful week together. School will resume on November 30th. Looking forward to seeing you all after the break. Thank you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
