BISD Board Goal1: Provide schools which are safe, conducive to learning and support the physical, emotional and intelectual well-being of our stakeholders.

Our floors and buildings are all shiny and clean. We have painted all of the exterior doors and several places inside of the building. We have new mulch on our playgrounds. Best of all, we have a new drive at the north end of our campus.WE ARE READY FOR KIDS!!!

BISD Board Goal 2: Attract and retain a high quality staff by offering competitive compensation, great working conditions and recognizing excellence in performance.

We have added some fabulous new teachers to the Finley-Oates staff. L-R Jamie Foster - 3rd; Donna Gilson - 3rd; Amy Pevey-aide, and Valerie Frescas - 1st.

BISD Board Goal 3: Ensure all students have high levels of academic achievement

with a focus on literacy and mathematics through improved leadership, instruction, support and a climate of continuous improvement.

All of our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade teachers had Saxon Training. The staff had a Guided Reading Refresher and our last set of teachers will complete Reading Academy this school year.

BISD Board Goal 4: Promote a positive and service-oriented culture within the Bonham ISD.
