A Note from Mrs. Hofer
Dear Blue families,
We have had an excellent start to our school year! You can just feel the positive energy when walking in our building because the students and staff are excited and ready to learn each day. We appreciate everything you do to ensure that your children come to school ready to learn.
Hats off to our PTO who have generously given each of our Blue Academy teachers $100 to spend in their classrooms on items to use with your children from the PTO Budget. I encourage you to be involved in the PTO. The commitment can be as big or as little as you want it to be. Success with our fundraisers, popcorn sales, and Winter Carnival would not be possible without your continued support. Our first PTO meeting is September 13th at 6 PM in the Community Room. We hope to see you there!
I love seeing all of the students earn "Hawk High Fives" daily for acting: Honest, Accountable, With Respect, Kind, and Safe, and can't wait to begin pulling names for rewards!
This is an extraordinary place and I feel fortunate to be here serving you, our staff, and students. My goal is to always have open lines of communication. Please know that I am approachable and available to you at any time. Our ultimate school goal is to give your child the very best elementary experience as they travel through childhood.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Stephanie Hofer
COLTS CONVO - Blue Is The New Green
The Indianapolis Colts paired up with Citizens Energy to offer Blue's newest school show called "Blue Is The New Green." Thanks to Citizens Energy's generous commitment, we were able to enjoy a FREE 30 minute program about the importance of conserving energy. Blue and his emcee took students through an entertaining school show as he expressed the importance of conserving energy. With fun games and bright visuals, students left the show with a clear message about going green!
BLUE was at the Blue Academy!!!

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES: Due to safety concerns, all transportation changes must be made by sending a note with your child. If you are not able to send in a note, then changes must be made in person in the office.
BUILDING ENTRY: Safety is our #1 concern here at the Blue Academy. With that being said, you must have a valid driver's license, or identification card to enter the building. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: Due to food allergies and diet restrictions, all birthday celebrations will be food free. You are welcome to send a donated book, puzzle or game to celebrate your child's birthday. This is to assure that all students can participate in the birthday celebrations.
