Randolph Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We have a four day week this week, so please plan accordingly for no school on Friday.

Reminders/Important Info

• We are attempting to host as many of our events as possible outdoors. There is no Back to School Night this week that was originally on the PTA calendar. Our teachers and staff are looking forward to conferences with our families in the upcoming weeks. Our next school-wide event will be October 8th for the Roadrunner Warrior Dash! We hope to see many families attend during the day as able.

• Friday 9/24 - SCHOOL CLOSED

• We continue to have significant safety and behavioral concerns on the majority of our buses. Please remind students that their masks must be worn at all times and they must adhere to our GCPS bus rules. Failure to do so may result in a removal from the bus:

First offense, verbal warning and communication with families

Second offense, assigned seat and communication with families

Third offense, loss of bus privileges and communication with families

Depending on the severity of the situation we may combine one or more of the above. We spend a great deal of time talking about how we can demonstrate FORWARD on the bus and throughout our school day. Thank you for your help with ensuring a safe ride to and from school for ALL of our students.

GHS is excited to announce the fall production of Peter and the Starcatcher. It is a comical show with lots of adventure. Find out how Captain Hook became Captain Hook and how he really lost his hand. Find out how Mr. Grin, the crocodile, got its name along with how Peter ended up on Neverland. Did you ever wonder how Tinker Bell came to be? Well, you will find out in Peter and the Starcatcher. Don’t miss this fun show! We hope to see you in the audience. The show will run from October 15 and 16th at 7:00 PM and October 17th at 2:00 PM. Tickets will be available for sale in the near future. A informational flyer is attached below.
