LOUD LIBRARIANS LEAD! September Vlog Episode
Ten Things About South Dakota's New State Librarian, George Seamon
1. What three words describe you best?
Empathetic, Kind, and Creative
2. How would you title your autobiography?
He Did His Best
3. What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would keep some for my family and give the remainder away to help others, but I would find fun ways to do it.
4. Which superpower would you like to have?
This question is much harder now that I am an adult. I remember a superhero or someone who could remove pain while they were touching the person. I would like to have that power. I would like to help relieve pain for awhile to help individuals through their trials.
5. Where would you go in a time machine?
I would like to see my parents as children and young adults.
6. What song do you have to sing a long with when you hear it?
Right now, “Piano Man” by Billy Joel.
7. What is a tradition that your family has?
Eating steak for Christmas dinner while watching a “A Christmas Story.”
8. What do you binge watch?
Right now, I am watching the “Virginian.” I have been stuck on classic western tv shows lately.
9. Where would you go on vacation?
I have always wanted to go to Africa.
10. What do you love to learn about?
I enjoy learning about History, Cooking, Building or Making things, Education, How to Better Myself, Religion, and Philosophy. The list could keep going because I love to learn.
