This weekly newsletter contains a review of what was accomplished in class this week and what the kids need to prepare for the next two weeks. Please read thoroughly!

Lion King Jr Music for Rehearsal (With Words)

Lion King Jr Music Accompaniment (No Words- Performance tracks)

• We sang through music- "One by One", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "Be Prepared", "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2, "He Lives in You", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (with words and without words)
  
• We reviewed blocking for pages 18-24 and "I Just Can't Wait to be King" and scenes pages 29 - 33, "Be Prepared".
• We read and sang through lines and music through page 61.
  

Week of February 20 and 21

• Review Music- "One by One", "I Just Can't Wait to be King", "Be Prepared", "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2, "He Lives in You", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (with words and without words)

• Work on words and notes for “Finale” and "Circle of Life"

• Review pages 18-33, all lines, music and blocking.

• Blocking for scenes pages 39 - 44

• Blocking for "Hakuna Matata" parts 1 and 2

Week of February 27 and 28

• Choreography for “I Just Can’t Wait to be King”

• Blocking for scenes pages 54 - 56

• Blocking for “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”

April 2: Costume Fitting, times TBA
