Martin School Family Update

Dear Families,

This week, our big day was last Wednesday--Report Card Day! As you know, our report cards were released online in all elementary schools this term. If you need help viewing report cards on Aspen, please email aspen@naschools.net.

Next week at Martin will be fairly quiet, but the week after that will more than make up for it! The week of December 19th, we'll have 2 winter music concerts (one in kindergarten and one in fourth grade), a winter craft party in grades K-5, an Ugly Sweater Day, and a half day on the 23rd! Lots of fun and memories are headed are way!

The Thursday before winter break, the MSA's Room Parents will be in to lead a seasonal craft with students in grades K-5. During the event, students will enjoy snacks through a "Party-in-a Bag." For "Party-in-a-Bag," families are asked to fill their child's bag (the size of a standard brown lunch bag) with a drink and goodies to be enjoyed by their child during the party. Due to food allergies, drinks and snacks should not be supplied to your child's class. White paper bags to be used for "Party-in-a-Bag" will be given to students at least a week before the party. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office.

All families may opt to insure their child's chrome book for $25 since all students use assigned chrome books in school. It is strongly recommended to families of children in grades 4 and 5 since chrome books may occasionally be going home with those students. For more information, please click here.
