RHPS: We are Connected - February

At Richmond Hill Primary School... We act respectfully, are helpful, have a positive attitude and stay safe.
1st Friday for Charity - Live to Give - February 1st
On Friday, February 1, 2019, RHPS students and staff are asked to wear red and bring in a donation in support of American Heart Association. This is a nationwide event to support the common goal of eradicating heart disease and stroke. Our participation in Jump Rope for Heart through American Heart Association encourages our students to develop heart-healthy habits by educating them on the heart and the importance of healthy eating and exercise. We look forward to seeing RHPS “go red” on Friday while we demonstrate Mindset #6: Live To Give!
A Note from Nurse Willis
Cold and flu season is here and in an effort to keep our students healthy and prevent the spread of illness to others, please adhere to the following Bryan County policy : If your child has a fever of 100 or above, they should not be sent to school. Students may return to school after 24 hours of being fever-free without use of fever reducing medication. Also, any child who has been vomiting should not be sent to school. They may return to school after being free of vomiting for 24 hours.
A Note from the Counselor
This is an excellent article about limiting screen time with children.
