Green JHS Weekly Bulletin for February 15th
Principal's Message
Dear E.O. Green Parents/Guardians and Community Members,
We hope the four-day weekend was restful and enjoyable in the company of family.
The 2020-21 school year has been challenging for students and staff to teach and learn. Please help us acknowledge the academic accomplishments your student achieved for Quarter 2. Take time to celebrate the big and small achievements your child continues to reach. Please call the front office if the student experiences difficulties logging into class to establish the supports needed. We want all students to be successful learners. Do not hesitate to call or email; we are here to support you.
Dual immersion Spanish Placement Test will be given to students on this program on Wednesday, February 17 during 5th period. The purpose of our Spanish placement exam is to make sure the high school places students in the appropriate Spanish level class. Therefore, it is important that students take the exam on their own without any help answering the questions. The exam will take one hour and twenty minutes. The students will be asked to complete the exam during asynchronous time.
Please join us on Wednesday, February 24, for a GradNation presentation title: Student Success - You Make It Happen - High School, College and Career Transition to High School. Presentation by Maricruz Hernandez with the OUHSD. Please see below for more details.
Please let us know your questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Attentively,
School Principal Melgoza-Vasquez
