Our GMS Varsity Band earned a first division "Sweepstakes" rating from our judges on Friday at Gilmer! We are proud of our band! They have been working hard before and after school to prepare.

The book fair will be open to our GMS parents, Tuesday, April 5th from 6:45-7:15. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Also, Ms. Sutherland and our teachers will be volunteering their time. The doors will be closing at 7:15. Students will have opportunities to shop throughout the week in case you can't make it. Email the ELAR teachers or Ms. Sutherland for more information.

Below, we have included the Parent Portal link. This is where parents can see students' averages for each class and can even see a breakdown of the grade. We have also included the link to the directory of all staff on campus. If you see your child is struggling in a class, email the teacher for more information.

Progress reports are usually printed the Monday after the third week.

Also, this is a friendly reminder about AR. Some students have had the same book since the week before spring break and still haven't tested. Students should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes a day. Our final reading screener before sending them to the next grade level will be in May.

GMS Students are invited to come to our Easter Special gathering for Middle Bears for Christ. We will have a guest speaker and donuts, Thursday, April 13th from 7:35am-7:56am in Mrs. Collins' room (213).
