MMS Weekly Update

The first two showings of EMMA were last week! If you missed it, we have another show on Thursday, March 3rd and one on Friday, March 4th at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 (MHS). Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and under 3 are free. They have all worked so hard for the last 3 months so please come and support the students in doing something they love!

Our district nurses will be conducting vision and hearing tests on March 1st and March 3rd with a make-up day on March 8th. This will only be for 7th grade students.

Students will be offered a survey from the Center of Educational Effectiveness. This survey is used to develop academic supports for student and to hear from students what they feel is working for them. This survey is optional.

If you would like to see a sample of the survey questions, please see the document below.

The COVID survey is on Monday. Please email or call so we can get an accurate list of those who are choosing to opt out. It would be helpful for us to have that information before Monday morning.

Just a reminder that Spring sports will starting soon. Here is the list of sports and when they start and end:

Track- 3/21- 5/13

Baseball- 4/11- 5/27

Girls Soccer- 4/11- 5/27

It would be a great time to make sure all online athletic forms are filled out, that we have a current physical on file and encourage your student to come to the office and add their name to the list. It's important to get an idea of how many are interested in each sport.
