Positive Shout Outs

Thank you to these amazing students for their acts of kindness, responsibility, and overall exemplar behavior at Jefferson Elementary. We are so proud of you! Way to set the example of being true to your P.R.I.D.E. promise! Keep up the good work and continue to set an example for others to follow.

ONE SCHOOL ONE BOOK - HOW TO EAT FRIED WORMS

We are excited about our One School, One Book activities. Continue to send in pictures as your child completes any of our activities or just a cute picture reading at home!

The Scavenger Hunt activity will close on Friday. Please send in the community log for the scavenger hunt by Monday at the latest. If it is in by Monday, your child will eligible for the drawing to win the grand prize. Check out some of the pictures below.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

The LAST book fair of this school year will begin on Monday, May 9, and run through Friday, May 13th This is the BOGO fair! Buy one item, get another of equal or lesser value FREE. Students can shop during their library time when at school. If your child's class has a field trip during their library time, we will arrange for them to shop another time!

IMPORTANT CLINIC NEWS

END OF YEAR MEDICATION PICK UP

The last day for Medication pick up from the school clinic is May 26th, 2022 at 3:30 PM. Per State Law, medications left in the school clinic must be destroyed. If you have any questions, please call the clinic.

CHROMEBOOK RETURN

All Chromebooks for K-2 students need to be collected by May 20th. Please make sure that your child brings their Chromebook back to school. All students will have access to the Chromebooks again next year.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

It is time for Kindergarten Registration. Your child must turn 5 by August 1, 2022, in order to be eligible to register. Call our office now at 440-942-7244 and speak with Mrs. Dugger about registering your child.

You will receive a pre-registration letter with specific directions following your phone call to our office.

FROM THE OFFICE

When picking up your child during the day from the clinic or for an appointment, you will need to present a current driver's license or a current Ohio State ID. We cannot release a student without the proper identification Also, please do not drop off any students prior to 8:20 am. We have had some students that been dropped off in the morning prior to the time when supervision is planned. We appreciate your help with this matter

If you are planning to move from the Jefferson area, please contact the office to let us know that your child will not be attending school here next year.

FIELD DAY 2022

Field Day is scheduled for May 20th. Our K- 2 students will have field day in the morning, and our 3-5 students will have it in the afternoon. We are hoping for good weather. We need empty pizza boxes for an event. If anyone can help out with this, we would appreciate it.

We are excited to be able to invite parents back to this event. Hope to see you on the 20th!

First Grade Concert

Thank you to Miss Baker and Mr. Tyrrell for the wonderful first-grade concert! All of our students did an amazing job and we were so proud of all of them!
