We hope that those of you whom had the opportunity to attend this year’s EPH conference soaked up a lot of interesting knowledge, (got the chance to play ping pong!) and enjoyed your experience in the wonderful and beautiful city that is Stockholm.

Scholarships for the Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (2018 edition)
We are pleased to inform you about a scholarships offer for 3 NGOs representatives for the 2018 edition of the Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance (MEIG Programme) organized by the University of Geneva in cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
This interdisciplinary Master programme, taught in English, will enable participants from different backgrounds and origins to gain a deep understanding of the political, economic, social and legal aspects of European and International Governance. It will notably prepare participants to take over executive functions in an international or national career dealing with global issues. The professional opportunities could be for example in an international or European organisation, in national or international institutions, in a ministry, in diplomacy, in multinational companies, in professional associations, in interest groups, in NGOs, etc.
Organised in eight thematic and methodological modules and an end-of-study written project, the programme lasts ten months (from January to October 2018). After two core modules that tackle the functioning of the United Nations system and the European Union institutions, both as a global actors in Governance issues, the Programme covers a wide set of thematic courses such as human rights and migration, maintenance and promotion of international peace and security, international trade, health and environment as well as the Sustainable development Goals (SDGs).
Please be aware that the applications must be sent as soon as possible, preferably before December 13th, 2017.

And now... a few words about us
As part of this special EUPHAnxt newsletter, we would like to introduce your new EUPHAnxt team. We are very excited to be part of the team, and look forward to keeping you guys up to date on all upcoming EUPHAnxt activities.
Sara McQuinn is the new EUPHAnxt Coordinator. She lives in Dublin, Ireland, and is a SPHeRE Programme PhD scholar at Dublin City University. She has a BSc in Public Health, and a MSc by Research in European Child Health. She has been a member of EUPHAnxt since her first EPH conference in 2015. She loves sport, travelling and keeping active. Plus – extra excited, she will be spending the holidays visiting her two brothers in sunny Australia!
Anton Hasselgren is the new EUPHAnxt Partnership Manager. He is from Sweden and currently lives in Norway where he is enrolled at a master program in Global Health at NTNU, Trondheim. His bachelor background is in exercise physiology and public health. Antons main interested in public health is NCD prevention and e-health. During his spare time he loves to go skiing, climbing and running in the mountains.
Keitly Mensah is the new EUPHAnxt Conference Manager. She is a young Public Health physician and works as a Research Associate in Princeton, USA. She was involved in different junior doctor association during her residency in Lyon, France and discovered EUPHAnxt at that time. She loves traveling, trying new sports and new cocktails.
Pasquale Cacciatore is the new EUPHAnxt Communication Manager. He is a medical doctor living Rome and attending his residency program in Public Health at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Within his areas of interest he is currently focusing on health services research, technology assessment and epidemiology. He loves keeping busy with plenty of activities, including being an official football referee and tinkering with tech devices.
