Principal Message
Greetings! I hope that you are enjoying the long weekend. Last Thursday, we had such a great success welcoming all of you and your children back into our school. Below are few pictures of the event. We are hoping to continue creating and building a sense of collaboration with all of our families so that you too are part of the decision making. I believe that it is a blessing and a privilege to work with your children and not a right. We are looking to increase our family engagement and for you to continue being a part of this community. We believe in inclusive practices and we pride ourselves in knowing that our school is a safe space for your child to be.
There have been a few changes to the arrival and dismissal schedule. Please read the document thoroughly so that you are aware of what pick up and drop off will look like moving forward.
I believe that as of yesterday, Aspen is up and running. Feel free to log in to see who your child's teacher will be for this upcoming academic school year. If you attended the Back to school Bash you have this information already.
I will keep my goals and objectives below for those who have not had an opportunity to see.
Goals and Objectives:
Develop and Establish a shared vision and mission that holds up beliefs for higher equitable outcomes.
Celebrate growth toward the vision and distill learning necessary for continued improvement.
Build a culture where people are supported and encouraged to take risks to improve instructional practice.
Build a climate of belonging, interdependence, and respect as educators engage in collaborative learning.
Leverage resources and strengths of families and community partners
Key Values:
Ensure access to excellent teaching and learning for all.
All Decisions are made through shared decision making based on what is best for students.
The business of the school must be conducted with clarity, collaboration and transparency.
Respectfully,
Erick D. Pagan M.Ed., (Principal)
