Fisher Family Update

Dear Fisher Families,

I hope you have all had a fantastic summer and are rested and ready for another great school year at Fisher! In just a few days we will be opening our doors to the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking forward to seeing all our students, meeting new students and growing together academically and as a community.

Students in grades 1-12 will report to school on Wednesday, August 30th, and on Tuesday, September 5th, we welcome our Kindergarten students. There will be NO SCHOOL Friday, September 1st, and Monday, September 4th. I have included a link to the 2023-2024 school year calendar.

This visit is an opportunity for you and your child to see their classroom and meet the teachers and some of their classmates. You will also learn more about the structure of the day, arrival and dismissal procedures, bus transportation, and kindergarten expectations.

We will greet our new students at Door #3 - far left corner of the building when looking at the front of the school

EXTENDED DAY - BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Registration for the 2023-2024 Walpole Schools Extended Day Program is now open! The Extended Day Program provides care in the hours both before and after school at each of our 4 elementary schools. Our program allows families to drop off at school as early as 7:00am and pick up as late as 6:00pm. Families are able to select a schedule to match their needs.

Ms. Carolyn McDonough and all of Fisher's Finest donors were honored at Fenway Park this summer. Thank you to all who helped Fisher School raise $17,000 for cancer research!

Registration is now open! Don’t miss this historic event! Sign-up now for the 5K, 10K, or highly-popular Youth Mile. All proceeds support the 200+ athletes in the Walpole High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Each race participant will receive a finisher’s medal. Can’t join us live? No problem.
