We made it through our Covid stretch at the beginning but are now smack dab in the middle of respiratory/RSV/flu season. If your child requires medication (Tylenol/Ibuprofen) for a fever they are not allowed in school until they are fever free with no medication for 24 hours. Calling out sick is an excused absence.

jjohnston@attleboroschools.com as well as send a message to the classroom teacher, (either through email, Rooms, or asking to transfer the call down to the classroom) if your student is going to be out sick or due to vacation so we are able to mark that :-) Automated calls may still go through so if you already called ignore the automated message.
Please remember that if you are a community peer, 6 unexcused tardies and absences will result in a phone call home, 12 is a letter home and a meeting with administration to discuss ways to help increase attendance, and 20 could result in the removal from the program. Letters have already been going home to those who meet the criteria. It is not our intention to remove anyone from the program. We would like to work with you to ensure that your children receive the most out of the preschool experience.
Research has shown that PreK attendees had stronger literacy skills once they reached the first grade ( Haslip, 2018).
