Principal's Message

Dear Parent(s),

Fun was had by all at our Halloween dance Friday night with some very creative costumes being worn by our students and staff. Our Halloween parade will take place from 1:00pm-2:30pm on Monday with each grade having the opportunity to show off their costumes to their peers.

Picture retakes are on Thursday, Nov. 3rd.

The last week (Nov. 3rd) for Spirit Wear is quickly approaching on our on-line store, don't miss out.

This Friday, Nov. 4th we will be hosting Westhaven Elementary grade 5 French Immersion as they join us for a music concert in French. (see poster below)

Our Lost and Found is overflowing, If your child is missing a clothing item they should check the bins prior to the Fall break when we will donate the remaining items.

It takes all of us to run the Pine Grove Breakfast Program

On behalf of the Pine Grove Middle School Breakfast Program, we would like to thank Repsol for their donation of $5000 toward our program. The support of our generous sponsors allows us to keep this worthwhile program running and helps to provide a nutritious breakfast to approximately 350 students twice per week. Also, thank you to our parent volunteers for helping prepare and serve breakfast.

Discovery Hour

Discovery Hour provides students the freedom to design their own learning content during a set period of time at school. It allows students to explore their own curiosity, through an individual learning experience. This is a cross-curricular course including outcomes from at least three programs of study.
