Thank you all so much for attending Open House! It was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to many more opportunities to speak with you throughout the year. I am very excited to serve you as the principal of Van Wert Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.
The first day of school is always a momentous occasion - a time filled with excitement, anticipation, and perhaps a touch of apprehension. It marks the beginning of a journey of growth, learning, and discovery for our students. But it is also a significant milestone for you, as parents and guardians, who play an essential role in your children's education.
Our dedicated team of educators and support staff is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive. We will strive to challenge and inspire them academically, while also nurturing their social and emotional well-being. We are here to support your child's individual needs, talents, and interests, and we encourage you to share any pertinent information that will help us better understand and guide them. With this in mind, as a district-wide practice, please remain in your vehicles when you arrive on campus and entrust your children to our capable and caring staff members.
