Informational Newsletter for Central Elementary Families
Thank You Central Families
We want to say thank you to our parents/guardians for being flexible with us during 1st semester as we navigated our way through Covid+, quarantines, and trying to start a new school year as smoothly as possible. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we try to keep students and staff safe and healthy. We are looking forward to a new year, a new semester, and continuing to grow our students academically and socially! Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions or concerns.
Mrs. Heaton, Principal
Mr. Klein, Assistant Principal
No School on January 17
In observation of MLK day, we will not have school on Monday, January 17.
Winter FASTbridge Assessment Window
We will begin our winter FASTbridge benchmark window next week. K-5 students are progress monitored throughout the school year in reading and math. These assessments inform us on how students are performing and what skills we need to continue to work on with students.
Lost & Found
With over 650 students in the building, our lost and found grows by the day. Please be sure to label students cold weather gear and other items the best that you can so we are able to find owners of the items that are lost. Feel free to come into the building and look through our lost and found if you feel your child(ren) are missing items.
