Land Ho! The SteamPunk Pirate Ball is on the Horizon
Our annual fundraiser gala is coming up on Saturday, February 3 from 6-10pm at the Key West Women's Club.
Guests will enjoy an exquisite buffet by the Royal Furniture Iron Chefs, live music by The Scallywagz, silent, Live & dessert auctions and raffle giveaways. Get ready for a swashbuckling good time!

- $80 General Admission (includes 1 drink)
- $125 VIP (includes unlimited drinks)
- Childcare will be available at the school for MSMS families $30 first child/ $20 each additional child

All Hands on Deck! Donations & Volunteers Needed for the SteampPunk Pirate Ball
Our single biggest fundraising event of the year, our gala requires a large number of donations and volunteers to be successful. The more we can get donated, the more money we can raise for our school!
What we need:
- Sponsors! Got a business or know someone who does? Consider sponsoring the event. The Sponsorship Form with info on levels and perks, is attached below.
- Gift certificates or donated goods from local shops and restaurants to use as raffle and auction prizes. The Donation Request Form is attached below. Earn 1 service hour per item received.
- Volunteers & Donations - earn service hours helping to run the event by donating either your time or items we need to put on the event. Sign up list at

Don't Forget Those Raffle Tickets!
Hopefully by now your family has sold most, if not all, of your Raffle Tickets for our drawing on Feb 3 at the SteamPunk Pirate Ball. Feel free to turn in money and tickets stubs to your lead guide or Ms. Christina at any time before the due date of Friday, Feb 2.
Reminder: Each family is required to sell 20 tickets.
Raffle details:
● Tickets are $10.00 each
● GRAND PRIZE: $1,000 (there are additional prizes including gift cards, jewelry, art, etc.)
Ticket purchasers do not need to be present at the drawing to win. (So don't let those tourist tell you they can't buy them because they don't live here. We'll mail them their prize if they win.)
BONUS INCENTIVE FOR MSMS FAMILIES: receive 2 service hours for selling all 20 tickets and the family who sells the most tickets will receive $100 CASH PRIZE!

Learn to Deal Poker
Every year, May Sands Montessori hosts a Poker Tournament as a fun, easy fundraiser for our school. We want to get a group of parents trained to deal poker so we have a pool of dealers available for these events. This is a fun way to earn service hours. Depending on volunteers' availability, we'll schedule at least one training session hosted and taught by Mark at the VFW. Please use the link below to sign up and indicate when you have general availability to attend a training session (weeknights, weekend days, etc).
