MST Weekly Update
November 3, 2023

Good afternoon to all of our MST family members.
October closed out and November began during our fall MST Spirit Week. Every day was a different theme that students and staff had fun with. Tuesday was Halloween, and it was not just the students who enjoyed dressing up as you can see.
Next week there are only three school days. Tuesday is election day, so schools are closed, and Friday we are closed for the observance of Veterans' Day which falls on Saturday November 11th. Thursday November 9th is the last day of the first quarter of the school year. All students need to be up to date with assignment completion if they are to be on track to earn credit by June. If they are not on track, they need to make arrangements with their teachers to stay after on make-up days to get work completed.
Next week you will be given information about our report cards and what to look for.
Pink Out Day
On Friday October 27th, MST students and staff participated in Pink Out Day to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A staff fundraiser and a student bake sale, sponsored by the National Honor Society, raised $500 which will be donated to CMC's Breast Care Center.
Class of 2025 News
On Thursday November 2nd, juniors running for class officer positions delivered campaign speeches to their classmates in the Brennan Center. Following the speeches, an online ballot was made available for juniors to vote for their preferred candidates. The new officers for the Class of 2025 are:

Congratulations to our new Class of 2025 officers!
