April 15-19th in DFY X-Week where students commit to X out drugs and alcohol.

Monday - Lunch Activity - Students are encouraged to TAKE THE PLEDGE and committing to stay drug free. They are invited to sign their names on the banner at lunch.

Tuesday - Lunch Activity - "Don't Let Drugs Control You!" Students can race remote control cars using vision impairment Goggle to simulate the dangers of driving under the influence.

Wednesday - "Sock it to Drugs" spirit day. Students can show off their crazy and mismatched socks

Thursday - Glaze don't Blaze - Donut eating lunch time activity in the quad for students to participate in.

Friday - "Put Drugs to Sleep" - Wear your comfiest pajamas or onsie (must still adhere to dress code).

Our annual state testing will be the week of April 29th. This is an important week for students to be present.

We also are asking for donations through our PAC for snacks to ensure our students keep their energy up for maximum success. Please use the link HERE to sign up! Volunteers to cover the tables are also needed from 8:00 - 8:45 each morning of testing.

Our wonderful PAC is organizing snacks for our testing week to make sure our students are fueled and ready to succeed! Please help out by volunteering to bring some items or supervise a snack table. Please HERE to sign up. Thanks!

We can not stress enough the importance of following the posted signs and traffic expectations around the school. We understand you are in a hurry and have to be places, but all of the procedures are meant to support moving everyone through quickly and keeping every one safe. Students crossing May Way pose a particular risk to both the students and the drivers. The posted no stopping signs also allow for the smooth flow of traffic.

Being on cell phones as you participate in drop off and pick up is also a hazard.

We need to model for students that rules apply to us all and should be followed whether an authority figure is watching or not.

Please work with us to make this work for all.
