SHES Weekly Update

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Giving Tree! We have about ten ornaments left if you'd like to participate. Thanks to your generous donations, we can support many of our families in need.

With our winter break around the corner, I want to express my gratefulness to our Shadow Hills community. You all have made this year one of the best that Shadow has ever experienced. I am looking forward to a new year filled with creativity and forward momentum. I have always been proud to be a part of Shadow Hills, but as you've seen, we continue to support each other and celebrate all of our accomplishments along the way. I could not be more appreciative of the inclusive environment you all project daily.

I hope you have time to unplug this winter break and spend time with your loved ones. I cannot wait to hear all the stories of adventures during the break!

We will be donating all the lost and found items that have accumulated on campus since August on Friday, December 17, 2021. Please take a moment to check that you have all your child's belongings.

Thank you all so much for grabbing almost all our ornaments! We have about 10 ornaments left that are still up for grabs. Thank you for coming together as a campus and helping out our families in need. If you would still like to help out our families, there is a Christmas Tree outside of the front office. Come grab an ornament from the tree, purchase the gift indicated on the ornament specifically chosen based on need and drop it off to the front office with the ornament that was picked up and unwrapped by December 15.

We are so sorry. Production experienced a little hiccup and our SHES Winter Apparel sales will be available until 12/17. Please look for flyers in your child's backpack.

Attention parents! Please make sure to communicate with the front office regarding any changes in personal information, contact numbers and/or addresses. It is important that the office has all of the most current information in case of emergency. COVID testing will be held at Shadow Hills Elementary School once a week on Wednesday's in the bus parking loop from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Testing is open to staff, students, and the community. Please pre-register at https://www.covxlabs.com/prereg-form.

We are excited to announce that the Jolly Boutique will be available again this year! The jolly gift boutique will give students the opportunity to do holiday shopping on their own! Gifts range from $0.50 through $25 and the gifts are chosen to provide a selection of over 120 different items for parents, relatives and friends. Gift list planner and envelope have gone home with your child. If you need another copy, please come to the office. If you would like to sponsor a child or send donation please indicate that on the form sent home. The Jolly Boutique will be open from Monday, 12/13, through Friday, 12/17. Students will go through with their teachers and will be assisted by PTA volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to PTA for times and more information.
