A Message From The Principals
Sandy Bermea - Principal
Welcome back Potranco Panthers!! I hope you had a great summer. The school year is off to a great start. Students are busy with hands-on activities. Please review the following information:
The teachers have set up a communication application called Class Dojo. If you haven’t signed up, please do so. The teachers will be sending pertinent information. You can easily communicate with your child’s teacher using Class Dojo.
All students (new and returning) need to be registered.
●For new students visit the Registration Website to schedule an appointment Student Registration Website
● For returning students, register/update information on Family Access. Click 2021 New School Year Online Forms. If you have login issues, call 830-931-2243 Ext: 3500 or mvregistration@mvisd.org.
● If you plan on withdrawing your child, send the principal an email with your child’s first and last name. Please also indicate your plan to move out of the district and/or homeschool. The email should contain the following: first and last name, new school or home school.
The dress code is set and approved by the district. I will be enforcing the dress code as we move forward. I have given some grace as we started school, however, discipline consequences will be assigned for those students who do not adhere. I appreciate your understanding and support.

Greetings Potranco Families!
It is exciting to see everyone back and ready to learn. We had an amazing first week of school, and things just keep getting better and smoother. The same will occur with our morning and afternoon traffic as we all continue to get in the groove of things and surrounding construction finalizes.
One thing that we can do in the mornings to speed up the drop-off process is letting your student out of the car as you reach the car loop and there is a sidewalk next to your stopping point. Our staff will continue to facilitate through heat, cold and rain should the student need assistance with getting out of the car but if that’s not the case, your student may exit the vehicle independently.
I appreciate your support and grace as growth continues in our community. It’s a great day to be a panther!
