Coordinator's Corner
HUBCON CANCELLED for 2020. Cold Iron VI will be Average Joe this year. If anyone is interested in a FOG game day at the Casa de Anders on September 13 send me an email and I can open up the basement for some round robin FOG play.
Bayou Wars will be November 6-8, 2020. Same location. Details for the ADLG Tournament are below. The 2019-2020 GCC season will continue through until the end of the ADLG Tournament at Bayou Wars. Any tournament that makes between now and then will count towards this year's GCC points.
Cold Iron VI FOG Tournament dates have been set for February 27-28, 2021, in the Casa de Anders basement gaming facility (Please note the date change). See the announcement below.
Cold Iron VI - Field of Glory Average Joe Tournament
Cold Iron VI will take up where the cancelled HUBCON left off on February 27-28, 2021 in the Casa de Anders Basement with the Field of Glory Average Joe Tournament.
Tournament Rules and Format
- Table size will be 4x6.
- Each round will be 3 hours plus 1d6 of random time. When time is called, players will finish the current phase.
- Round 1 will start at 9 AM on Feb 27 or shortly thereafter
- V3 rules and current FAQ from BHGS website will be used.
- We will use the 100 point ADLG scoring method for round by round results.
- 1 list, 800 points.
- Any list from the list below is allowed but only the "Average Joes" may participate, i.e., no Superior, Elite or Poor troops are allowed. Highest ranking general allowed is an FC. (No Inspired Commanders allowed).

There are multiple hotels at the Fultondale-Walker's Chapel Road exit to chose from and if flying in a shuttle from the airport can be arranged with notice.
BAYOU WARS 28 ADLG Tournament, November 6-8, 2020
Bayou Wars 28 will host a 200 point ADLG Open Tournament with 1 round Friday, 3 rounds Saturday and 1 round Sunday.
Tournament Rules and Format
Rule book and current ADLG rule interpretations will be used.
All judge’s rulings are final.
Referee will be Christopher Anders. Send lists and questions to shadypage@att.net. Lists will be due by October 30, 2020. Late lists give opponent choice of terrain before initiative is rolled.
Five rounds. 2.5 hours with 1d6 minutes of random time per round. When time is called, players will finish the CURRENT phase.
- Round 1 - Friday at 6:30 PM
- Round 2 - Saturday at 8 AM
- Round 3 - Saturday at 11 AM
- Round 4 - Saturday at 3 PM
- Round 5 - Sunday at 8AM
Venue is D'Iberville Civic Center, 10395 Automall Parkway, D'Iberville, Mississippi 39540
Convention fee is $40 for the weekend but Dwaine Balius has indicated there will be a $25 ADLG Tournament rate at the door. $5 fee for the ADLG Tournament paid to referee at tournament.
Trophies for 1st-3rd place will be provided.
