Little Riverhawk Preschool

Mason City Schools offers a great 4-year-old preschool program! Start your student on their academic journey with great learning experiences, amazing social interactions, and fun educational activities! Students must be 4 years of age by September 15, 2023 to be eligible to be in the program.

Little Riverhawk Preschool is located at Harding Elementary (1239 N. Rhode Island Ave). All four year old preschool and early childhood students are served at this location.

• AM Session: 8:30-11:00 a.m.
• PM Session: 12:00-2:30 p.m.

Both sessions run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Busing will be available to and from home, in-home daycares and public daycares free to all our preschool families. Click Here to apply for busing!

Is your child five and not eligible for four-year-old preschool, but feel like your child isn't ready for kindergarten? We will be offering transitional kindergarten to a limited number of students beginning the 2023-2024. Sites will be at Roosevelt and Hoover Elementary with busing provided from all school boundaries. Please use this link if transitional kindergarten is something that you would like to consider for your child. Criteria will be used to determine students' eligibility and placement.
