PES Notes
Week of October 17th-21st
Hello!
Hello PES Family,
I hope each of you had a great week. It was a fantastic week at the school. It was great seeing our students and listening to their fall break adventures. Whether they took a trip or stayed at their homes, they all were able to build some great memories.
Over the next few weeks, we have some events taking place. This week, we will celebrate our students who have Down Syndrome. We have three different dress-up days for our students to participate in. You will see a picture below sharing what we are doing each day. If you have any questions, please let me know.
The following week, we will celebrate our RED RIBBON week. Each day provides an opportunity for students to dress up or dress down. Our goal is to stress being drug-free. I hope conversations will occur between you and your child about some of the dangers in our world.
For Halloween parties this year, we will do ours on the 28th as part of our Red Ribbon week. Parties will start around 1:30 for each grade level. Some may ask why on this day; well, the 31st is a Monday, which would make for an exciting week. I hope you understand our thinking about this.
In closing, report cards came home Friday. There may be some questions, and I encourage you to reach out to our teachers or touch base with Coach Marshall or me. You can send a message to your child's teacher or our admin team by clicking here.
Have a wonderful week,
Dr. Scott King
