ESL 533 FAQS
GCU
Scholars, here are answers to frequently asked questions in ESL 533
WHY DIDN'T I RECEIVE ALL OF MY PARTICIPATION POINTS THIS WEEK?
THOROUGHLY respond to all initial posts. After that, you must respond to 3 other classmates with substantive responses. This means, they must be on topic, and engaging (and more than 3 sentences). If I am unable to click my SUBSTANTIVE POST button for each of your responses, you will not receive full credit.
Also, grammar and spelling play a role as well so points are taken if you are not conducting spell check on your responses. As aspiring educators, you must show that you deserve to stand in front of students and teach them. Everyone notices writing that is not scholarly, with spelling and grammatical errors so please check your work.
Discussion posts do not follow the late policy rule. Once the due date passes for submission, you will lose points if you do not participate.
Remember! Discussion posts have due dates! You DO NOT have the entire week to complete them, from Thursday to Wednesday. You're actually given about 3 days to initially post and respond to classmates. Please complete them with responses by the due date indicated in the Planner each week.
