Preschool and Kindergarten Screening: This Friday, April 8, we will be holding our PK and K Screening. If your child is being screened, please make sure to bring a copy of his/her updated immunizations.

Spring Pictures: We have a new portrait company, Wagner Portrait Group, taking our Spring pictures of our students and class photos on Thursday, April 21. We will be sending home packet information when we receive it!

CSCO Baseball: Forms for CSCO''s Baseball League have gone home for with students in PK-3rd grade. This league is for children ages three through 3rd grade. There are new rules this year for 2nd and 3rd grade teams. If you need a form sent home, please contact the office and we will get one sent to you! Forms and registration money are due by this Friday, April 1, 2022.

3rd- 6th Grades Elementary Volleyball League: Information will be shared soon regarding the Elementary Volleyball League. We will need parents from each grade level willing to coach a team for this league. Spots may be limited and interested girls may have to tryout if we do not have enough parents willing to coach. If you are willing to coach, there will be a place on the registration form for you to complete indicating your willingness to coach.

Candy Donations Needed: Each year CSCO provides stuffed eggs for students to enjoy an egg hunt during the class Easter parties. (This egg hunt is different from the Community Wide Egg Hunt.) In order to ensure each student can find at least 10 eggs, CSCO needs donations of individually wrapped candies which will fit in plastic eggs by Friday, April 8.

Cox CARE Mobile Coming to Crane: The Cox CARE Mobile will be coming to Crane on May 5th and May 11th to provide students with needed services. They will be offering PK/K immunizations and sports physicals for students in grades 5th-12th grades who plan on playing a school sport. Details are shown in the image below. No Honor Choir: Honor Choir will be taking a break from practices for a little while. Stay tuned for when these practices will start back up!

Screenings for Preschool and New Kindergarten Students for Next School Year: We are now scheduling screenings for the upcoming school year for students who will be entering preschool and for students who will be entering kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year who were not enrolled in Crane Elementary's Preschool Program. Screening will take place on Friday, April 8. Please call the elementary office at 417-723-5300 ext. 1301, to schedule your child's screening.

Still Important...

Absences: If your child is going to be absent from school, regardless of reason, we need you to call the Elementary office to let us know. If you call before anyone is at school, please leave a voicemail letting us know your child's name and reason for absence. The office phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 1301.

Transportation Changes: We understand plans can change throughout the day. If transportation plans change for your child, please call the office to let Whitney know so she can ensure your child gets the message. Some parents have been messaging teachers on Dojo and there are days teachers do not see messages until after students have left for the day. We would hate to miss an important message!
