SECURITY UPDATES FOR HOME EVENTS
Collinsville Public Schools is dedicated to providing a safe environment for everyone at all athletic events. In light of recent incidents at schools across Oklahoma, we have increased our security procedures for all of our athletic events. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us with these procedures.
Collinsville Public Schools, as always, is partnering with the Collinsville Police Department to increase security for home football games. Our SROs and CPD officers will be present at each point of entry.
The following security procedures will be implemented at all home games:
See something, say something to an officer or administrator.
Students K-8th must be accompanied by an adult to gain admission to athletic events.
No firearms or weapons of any kind will be permitted.
Please refrain from bringing large purses or bags to athletic events.
No student backpacks will be allowed.
Any bags brought to an event are subject to search.
No outside food, drinks, or coolers will be permitted at athletic events.
No footballs or other sports balls will be allowed in the stadium.
No pets are allowed at athletic events except for a licensed service animal.
No student re-entry. Once a student leaves the event, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
Students are encouraged to sit with parents or guardians in the bleachers when possible.
Once again, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we strive to keep our players and patrons safe.
