Barrington Middle School Library - RI
The Library is Busy Once Again!
It is a joy to have patrons back in this collaborative library media space. We have teachers and clusters signing up to use the stairs, students emailing to use the makerspace for film class, and lots of activity teaching classes on the stairs and in the global classroom. Students are coming for books before school and throughout the day. Students are staying after Monday through Thursday to use the library for studying, homework, reading, and quiet socializing with peers.
Many students are asking to use Chromebook loaners each day. We have a limited amount of Chromebooks to lend so please have your children get in the habit of charging their computers at night and putting their computers in their backpacks before leaving for school. Creating a charging and packing routine is an important life skill.
Library Website and Open House
If you missed me at Open House and would like to know more about what our Barrington Middle School library has to offer, please go to the library site and the News & Events page. I have an Open House slideshow there for you to see.
This website has everything your children need. Please ask them to show you as they have bookmarked the page at our library orientation.

Barrington Library Card Sign-Up
If your child does not have a library card, we are hoping to make it a reality. This year we are not able to request books from other libraries. The quickest way for your child to get a book they want is to request it from the Barrington Public Library. Please check out this flier for more information.
