CHIPS Weekly Update

School Picture Days will be October 13th and November 30th. All ordering will be online this year! Flyers are have gone with children and a copy is attached below. The first picture day is on a Thursday, and the second is on a Wednesday. This accommodates all CHIPS students regardless of their schedule.

There will be a separate ordering code sent out for students who will be having pictures taken on November 30th. It will be sent home closer to that date.

• October 10- No School- Columbus Day
• October 13- School Pictures
• October 18- No School- Professional Development
• November 8- No School- Professional Development
• November 11- No School - Veteran's Day

As we move into the fall months, please inform the nurse if your child has or will be starting new seasonal allergy medications or routines. This may help determine when your child simply has the sniffles from the environment, has a pesky cough and needs an inhaler or if it could be the start of a new virus. Speaking of viruses, please review the Frequently Asked Questions about the 'FLU' shot and Covid Vaccine for our younger population. As always, please discuss with your family doctor. If you are a family in need of a pediatrician for your child, please reach out to Nurse Kristen Lynch personally.

We have a supply of rapid COVID test kits available for families. If you need a COVID test kit, please contact the CHIPS main office. Test kits must be picked up by parents. We cannot send them home in backpacks.

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc).

Nurse Kristen can be reached by calling the CHIPS main number (978-251-5188) and selecting option 3.

Our CHIPS Little Free Library- such a fun way to help foster a love of reading in our preschoolers! Feel free to stop by with your child and borrow a book! Please remember to return the book when you are finished:) If you have books at home that you would like to donate, please put them in the Little Library or send them into CHIPS with your child. Thank you!!
