Happy October Lakeview families!

As we continue to practice flexibility and grace, I can't help but smile with pride at the efforts and collaboration among students and staff to maintain safety around the building!

I've also appreciated students and families continuing to follow all of the mitigation procedures and guidelines. Your patience and support has made a tremendous impact on our efforts to keep students onsite. Thank you!

Here are a few friendly reminders from the office staff. Please let the front office know if you have any questions.

• Picture retake will be on Wednesday, October 28th.
• Lost and found items will be removed on November 1st. Please remind your child to check the lost and found for any of their items they may have misplaced.
• Student drop off in the morning is from 7:50am-8:05am. The school day starts promptly at 8:10am.
• Student pick up/dismissal on early release days is 1:39pm. Student pick up/dismissal is at 3:05pm on regular days.
• As we approach the colder months, please help remind your child(ren) to bring their jacket to school. Unless there is inclement weather, recess will be outside. It is important that students come to school with the proper outdoor accessories.

Drive-up flu clinics will be available this month on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th from 4:00pm-6:30pm. Detailed information and consent forms can be found below.

The LV/SIS PTO is looking for volunteers to help during the drive-up clinics. If you are able to help, please follow the link provided below for sign up times.

Let Mrs. Elijah know if you have any questions on volunteering and/or the clinics.

Here are the guidelines and expectations for classroom Halloween parties this year. The goal is to be able to still provide some Halloween fun while still maintaining safe practices. Please let the office know if you have any questions.

• No outside treats
• No parent visitors and/or volunteers
• Parties will consist of activities within the classrooms/cohorts (decided by each teacher)
• Parties will be scheduled within the last hour of the school day on Friday, October 30th

Students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costume to school that day. Please leave all hand held accessories (i.e. wand, sword, etc) at home. Masks will stay in student backpacks until the start of their classroom party.
