Support our Crockett Cheerleaders!
The Crockett High School Cheerleaders are raising money to purchase mats that can be used to perform stunts, jumps, and tumbling on safely. Safety is a high priority when practicing our sport!
If you could find it in your capacity and heart to make a donation to our organization, it could possibly impact the next decade of cheerleaders at Crockett High School. Our community would be incredibly grateful.

Fall Final Exam Exemption Guidelines 2020
There will be NO exemptions for the following: OnRamps and ACC dual credit courses. AP courses and/or EOC courses may be excluded from exemptions at teacher discretion.
STEP 1- Obligations: Exemption from a final exam is NOT granted to a student if they have obligations or fines
STEP 2- Teacher Approval: Exemptions will be granted per class. Based on grade average, students may be exempted from taking their final exam(s) in courses if ALL of the following criteria are met
Minimum of 70 for the semester average (1st, 2nd, 3rd six weeks). This average will be entered as the semester exam grade. You can opt in to take the final exam for a better final/semester grade.
STEP 3- Mark Attendance on Final Exam Day: Students who have earned exemptions are expected to complete an attendance check in on final exam day. If you do not show up to class on the day of the final exam (attendance check by 11:59pm), you will lose your exemption and get a 50 on the exam.
If a student is exempt from the exam, the final day could be a great opportunity to complete next year course advising as an attendance assignment. More information to come.
Farewell to our PEIMS Clerk!
Rosa Robinson, our Amazing PEIMS Clerk of 20+ years at Crockett HS will be retiring at the winter break this year. She has worked at 3 different AISD campuses, with Crockett being her home and family that she has been at for the majority. Working under 5 different Principals, working with 3 different Registrars, and countless other co-workers that adore her. She has been the backbone and heart of our school and will be greatly missed. We could not thank her enough for all the lives she touched in such a positive way with her smile, wisdom, and gracious attitude to always help others. We wish her all the best and much deserved rest in her retirement.
Thank you for sharing your time with us.
We will miss you❤️

Do you have a Library book from last year and need to return it?
Starting Monday December 7 there will be a Library Return box located at the Crockett main entrance checkpoint, across from the PAC, from 8:30AM-4PM. Just return your book there, and Ms. Gibson will take you off the obligations list by the end of that day (usually sooner, the box will be emptied 2 to 3 times daily).
If you are on campus, you can return the book to the book return bin outside the Library, or bring it inside to the book return slot at the Circulation Desk.
If you need more information about obligations, or wish to pay for a lost book, contact Ms. Gibson via Library BLEND or email at claudia.gibson@austinisd.org . The replacement cost for most hardcover books is $10; paperbacks (except for Manga) are $5.

Cougar Pride!
We are Thankful for our Community!
"A huge shout out to Kerianne and Guy Oliver for donating a brand new Ping Pong table to the students of Crockett High School. Guy is a 1988 graduate of Crockett. When the couple heard Mr. Morgan talking in a teacher forum about his students’ 3-year dream to acquire a Ping Pong table in the hallway space next to his room in order to have lunchtime competitions, they sprung into action and hand delivered a beautiful new table with extra paddles and ping pong balls. We applaud their generous support and well-being of Crockett High School and it’s community!"
